Con 53 minutos de duración completa y diez temas cargados de mestizaje musical y experimentación, este nuevo trabajo reúne a figuras de talla internacional, como Tom S. Englund (Evergrey) y Sakis Tolis (Rotting Christ), con el talento emergente del underground británico Rebecca Stanley (The Mariana Hollow) y el cantaor flamenco Javier Caminero, entre otros.

 

“The Tides in Our Veins” contiene los dos recientes y aplaudidos por la critica nuevos singles de North of South: “Soul Cartography” y “Just Fourteen Seconds”, en los que Chechu Nos comparte tareas vocales con la estrella sueca del Metal Progresivo Tom S. Englund (Evergrey) y el icono griego del Black Metal Sakis Tolis (Rotting Christ), respectivamente.

 

Al igual que su álbum de debut, “New Latitudes (2018), y el posterior Ep, “The Dogma and The Outsider” (2019), “The Tides in Our Veins” fue grabado nuevamente en los Zoilo Unreal Studios (Marín, Pontevedra, España) y está co-producido por Zoilo Unreal y el propio Chechu Nos.

Esta segunda entrega discográfica, de más de media hora de duración, viene a doblar la apuesta de la fórmula del álbum de debut, “New Latitudes”, llevando cada elemento un paso más allá: más dureza, más melodía, más sofisticación y, por supuesto, más sonidos hispanos.
